Here are some photos of Ben having fun in the bath today.

Friday night we drove to Ohio to stay with our friends Jason and Amy. They moved to Worthington (near Columbus) a little while ago. We wanted to go visit and see their new house. They have a little boy, Carson, who is about 3 months older than Ben. Saturday afternoon we went to the Columbus Zoo. It was a great place to visit! We didn't see it all because Ben was not in the best mood (in need of some sleep), so we got out of there a little early. Ben with Curt in the petting zoo area. I didn't get any cute pics of the boys together, so that was a bummer. Ben had a fun time with Carson and we had a great time with our friends!

Ben and Curt right before Curt got sweaty and dirty from the softball games. I had to take a picture of this mess. Last week he was just dirty from sliding into second and this week brought blood. I told him to stop hurting himself :). He assured me it was necessary and in his own words said, " I beat out the force at second." Let's hope next week is injury free.

Well...maybe the Fort Wayne Zoo doesn't have lions, tigers, and bears but we did get to see a lot of other animals today. :) Ben looking at some monkeys. It's hard to see, but there is a monkey hanging from the branch. Going on a leisurely log ride around the zoo.

Ben made me laugh this afternoon by putting his head under the box for his toys, so I had to get a picture. Don't worry...he was able to free himself! :)

A couple weeks ago, we got a wagon from my sister that her kids don't use anymore. We took Ben out in the driveway today for a test drive. He doesn't look that excited, but I think he was having a good time. I sat him down in the middle (because the seats don't have straps) and only his cute little head was sticking out while I walked him. Curt's turn to pull the wagon.

We went to Indianapolis today to visit our friends Ryan and Sharon and their new baby, Eli. We thought it might be a shock for them to see Ben next to their little guy! Eli sticking his tongue out at Curt. Sharon and Eli

We went to the pool in Patty's neighborhood today. We tried to go last week, but the weather was not so great. Today was sunny and beautiful. Ben looking around (not interested in smiling for me) at the pool. He had fun floating around. That float has been used many times this summer! Having a little snack and watching the other swimmers.

Ben loves to watch his Baby Einstein videos and today he watched Baby Dolittle . He was sitting so cute laughing at the monkeys that I had to snap a picture.

Ben with my dad on Saturday. He kept rubbing his forehead on my dad's beard and laughing. It was really funny. Ben with his Uncle Matt. Mya entertained Ben with a bow (from one of my dad's b-day presents). My sister with Ben. He had fun with her on Sunday. She even took him into the pool again. Cousins all trying to get some quality time with Ben. They don't get to see him that often, so they all want to play with him. My mom, Ben, and Molly. He was trying to get the bow from Molly's hair. He was not successful. :) Having fun! :)

We were at my parents house this weekend. The weather was beautiful so we had to go out and enjoy the pool. Ben floating around the pool with Curt. Mya and Molly in the pool on Sunday. The goggles are awesome! :)

Curt is playing on a softball team with Vera Bradley. Tonight was their first game. Ben and I tagged along and got to visit with Patty and Olivia. Curt warming up before the game. Ben tried out some bikes outside today. His cousin Peyton grew out of them and reluctantly :) passed them along to Ben. He doesn't really understand how to move his feet by the bike, but he had fun being pushed around by daddy.

This morning we went to the splash park at the YMCA with Glenda (Jillian and Evan) and Patty (Olivia). It was a beautiful sunny day out. Ben before he tried out the splash park...looking around and enjoying the sights. Trying out a little fountain...after the big ones scared him. Not liking the little fountain. Really not liking the little fountain! Once again, enjoying the splash park from afar. Ben and Evan being friends...too cute! :)
