Lucy's 3rd Birthday

Image
On Sunday January 4th, we celebrated Lucy's 3rd birthday. It was fun to have her birthday on the weekend so that we could spend the whole day together celebrating! I can't believe that she is 3 already! Lucy has such a fun personality. She is always making us laugh with her silly phrases and stories! She was excited to wake up and open her presents. It probably felt like Christmas morning all over again. She loved her new cozy Elsa & Anna blanket.   This is the silly smile we usually get for pictures lately. :) We put up some Frozen decorations and I think it turned out cute. It was just the four of us, so we just kept it pretty simple. Lucy was thrilled when she saw everything in the morning! The sweetest birthday girl. I made her my best attempt at a Frozen cake. She thought it was cute, so that's all that matters. :)   We went to her favorite Moe's for lunch. She LOVES the chips and queso. Lunch is not com...

Christmas in Cadillac

Friday after we unpacked our stuff, we headed to Tim and Molly's house. We had a fun afternoon/evening hanging out together and celebrating Lucy & Molly's birthdays. Saturday, we celebrated Christmas at my in-laws. We opened stockings, had a big breakfast, opened presents, and had a delicious dinner. There was lots of time to play games and try out new toys. By, the time we left Sunday morning I think we were all pretty worn out from four full days!    Birthday Time!   She loved her new book! She can listen to Grandma's recorded voice reading it to her.    She was super excited about her new Anna dress. She had to wear it the rest of the day.  Hanging out with Uncle Mark. There was an intense ping pong tournament that took place during the afternoon.  Betsy made cupcakes for the party. They were SOOO good! All of the cousins by the tree, ready to open presents!  This sweet girl got an apple in he...

Christmas in Grand Rapids

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my family. We had planned on all going to the Christmas Eve service, but since Ben was still a little under the weather, my mom and I stayed home with the kiddos. Then, Christmas day was a full day of celebrating! Playing at my parent's house on Christmas Eve. I tried to get a good Christmas Day photo, but Miss Lucy would not look up at the camera. Lucy, Gramps, and Ben Lucy & Grandma Lucy & Molly Yay! We got to celebrate Lucy's birthday too! My sister brought a super cute Frozen themed cake. It was yummy!  Lucy had lots of presents to open between her birthday and Christmas!    I had to document my brother Matt actually working on a puzzle. :)  Ben got a Super Mario 3ds game and a Lego set. He was pretty excited!   We left my parents house on Friday and headed up to Cadillac for the second half of our trip.
