**update photo...belted in and ready to go Ben's car seat showed up with the UPS truck today. I was excited because we have taken forever to decide what kind of convertible seat we wanted. We decided on the Maxi-Cosi Priori, but we had to order it because it wasn't at the stores around here. Ben trying out the seat, without the seat belts of course :). He looks really big in it, but it was reclined and he didn't want to sit back. I think it will be a great seat for him and not be too bulky for the Jeep.

This morning, Ben and I went to the Grabill Fair with some friends. I enjoyed some delicious lemonade and greasy food for lunch :). Ben with Tiana and Isaiah. Sweet little Will sleeping in his stroller. I had to get a picture of these ladies in their red and blue outfits making caramel corn. We were definitely out in the country!! :) They had some rides for the kids. Tiana and Isaiah tried out the big bouncy one.

Friday night we drove to Ohio to stay with our friends Jason and Amy. They moved to Worthington (near Columbus) a little while ago. We wanted to go visit and see their new house. They have a little boy, Carson, who is about 3 months older than Ben. Saturday afternoon we went to the Columbus Zoo. It was a great place to visit! We didn't see it all because Ben was not in the best mood (in need of some sleep), so we got out of there a little early. Ben with Curt in the petting zoo area. Ben and mommy Jason with Carson...I was trying to get him petting the goat, but then he decided the fence was more interesting :). I didn't get any cute pics of the boys together, so that was a bummer. Ben had a fun time with Carson and we had a great time with our friends!

Ben and Curt right before Curt got sweaty and dirty from the softball games. I had to take a picture of this mess. Last week he was just dirty from sliding into second and this week brought blood. I told him to stop hurting himself :). He assured me it was necessary and in his own words said, " I beat out the force at second." Let's hope next week is injury free.

Well...maybe the Fort Wayne Zoo doesn't have lions, tigers, and bears but we did get to see a lot of other animals today. :) Ben looking at some monkeys. It's hard to see, but there is a monkey hanging from the branch. Going on a leisurely log ride around the zoo.

Ben made me laugh this afternoon by putting his head under the box for his toys, so I had to get a picture. Don't worry...he was able to free himself! :)
