MSU...is it really football time already?

Ben sitting in the living room while the MSU game was on. He was prepared with his hat and football.
"Yumm...I think I'd rather eat this football than watch it on tv."
Curt and Ben smiling...that must mean a victory for MSU! :)

Oh my Gosh! Such a cute picture of Curt and Ben! You should blow that one up to a 5x7! :) So cute! I'm glad they are both smiling now and it's good to see they are okay after the "incident". Go STATE!! yah!

I Love that picture of Curt and Ben! I'd love a copy of that one. Actually, you've taken SO MANY cute ones of Ben lately, I'd take 'em all! I don't want to be greedy, but if you could print off a couple of them, I'd sure enjoy them! :-) Thanks!

I'm glad we had time to make sugar cookies together. Christmastime does not seem complete without them. I frosted the cookies while Ben and Curt decorated.  Lots of sprinkles and chocolate chips!  Ben loved getting slippers and a robe with his "Christmas Eve" jammies. He does love to be cozy. We decided to move up our present opening a day early because we thought I might end up in the hospital on Christmas. But, today is the 27th and still no baby. So we were a bit off on that one.  Santa brought the Lewis Hamilton car that Ben had asked him for. He was very excited!  The new pirate ship has been a favorite. He has played with it a TON a last few days.  Ben also got a few more pirate dress-up things. I've heard "Aarg!" a lot lately. :)  My parents came yesterday for a visit since my dad has this week off of work. The Big 3-0!

Today I turned 30 years old. I didn't think that it would make me feel old, but it kinda does. :) I had a wonderful birthday. Curt went out and got us donuts for breakfast. Then, I got to open my presents. He did a great job shopping and I love everything he picked out! For lunch we went out to Olive Garden and then stopped by the mall for a little while. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing at home. I hope this getting older doesn't mean that gray hairs are going to start showing up! While I got ready this morning, Curt got out his old car track. He hasn't used it in many years, so he wasn't sure if it would work. Ben loved watching the cars race around the track. We enjoyed eating lunch at Olive Garden. Ben was too interested in coloring to look up at the camera. I love cheesecake for my birthday and Curt made this one for me all by himself. It is a chocolate chip recipe that is one of my favorites. He only added one candle per decade...we didn't ...
