The Letter "T"
Last week, we took a break from working on a letter because we were only home for two days before we needed to travel for Thanksgiving. This week we got right back into it with the letter T/t. Ben worked on several projects, so beware...there are many photos below. :)
Lowercase t became train tracks for Ben's Thomas stickers.
Covering the uppercase T with tissue paper.
The finished uppercase T.
We found a fun tree art project while we were at Target. I was going to have him make a tree with popsicle sticks, but changed my mind when I saw this one. He really liked putting the stickers on it. We put it on his dresser to decorate his room for Christmas.
Ben's cool sports tree.
Painting a paper plate orange for his tiger's face.
Gluing on all of the little details.
Ben's completed tiger. I think it's pretty cute. :)
I've been wanting to try to have Ben write some letters in shaving creme, but I always forget to pick some up at the store. I finally remembered this week, so we gave it a try. Ben enjoyed it for about 10 minutes and was able to practice several T/t's and other letters. He doesn't quite have the fine motor skills to write them with a pencil yet. This seemed much easier for him. After 10 minutes though, he was ready to wash his hands...he does not like them to be messy for long!
