Loving Spring!
The sun is shining, the temps are warm, and we are LOVING it! This is my favorite time of year. I love to see all of the bright colored flowers and green grass. Lucy's afternoon naps keep us close to home, but we've had fun just playing out in our yard while she sleeps. When she wakes up, she loves to come outside to swing and play in the sandbox.
Tomorrow is Ben's last day of preschool. I can't believe that it is the end of the school year already. We're excited for our summer plans, but I know he will miss his teacher and classmates quite a bit. I know I will miss them too. I tend to have a hard time with change and I've felt myself feeling very nostalgic about not driving to his school anymore. Next year he will be a big Kindergartner...how did this happen? I blinked and my baby grew up!
We signed Ben up for T-ball this year with the Leo/Grabill Little League. He wasn't sure if he wanted to sign up back when it was time to turn in the paperwork. He told me he didn't want anyone to laugh at him. We had a good talk about it and he decided to give it a try. (He's taken baseball classes that teach the skills, so I think he was just nervous about the games). He has been having such a good time. Curt helps out as an assistant coach when he's there because they needed more coaches. His games have been during Lucy's naptime, so I haven't been to the first couple. But, this weekend it is earlier and we are all going. I can't wait to see him play!
Why wouldn't you want to sit on a pile of cars?
Curt and Ben worked together to make some delicious steaks for Mother's Day. They were SOOO good!
Lucy can spend forever getting pushed in the swing. She loves it so much!
It's not so easy to get a good picture of these two.
Out riding his bike.
Looking at the clouds with my boy.
Enjoying a cookie. I should have taken a picture of the final mess...yikes!
Looking good in their shades!
