Disney Day 6: Swimming & Disney Springs

Friday was our last full day at Disney. We decided to swim in the morning and head to Disney Springs for lunch and shopping. The weather was cloudy and hot in the morning. It felt great to be in the pool. We headed over to the biggest pool because it was a little more fun with the water slides.

They had a really fun kids area for little kids. Ben was too tall, so I took Lucy in alone. She only stayed a few minutes and said she wanted to go in the big pool with Ben.
Another view of the pool.
For lunch we took the bus to Disney Springs and went to Wolfgang Puck Express. I had read that it was really good. Honestly, it was some of the best food I've every had. I had a Roasted Turkey Cobb Salad. I wish I could eat it everyday! Then we all had Vanilla Bean Cheesecake for dessert. SOOOOO yummy!
We had to stop and check out the Lego Store.

We found Aurora again by the Disney Store.
We had a lot of snack credits to use up on our dining plans. So, we stopped by Ghiradelli's for ice cream, even though we were still pretty full from lunch. Someone was a little worn out and didn't even wake up to eat one bite.
Later, we stopped by the Goofy Candy Co. I had read that you could make a fun treat for a snack credit and that they would package it up so you could take it home. After we found out that was true, the kids planned out there treats on a little sheet and waited for them to be made.
We took their treats all the way home in our suitcases and they ate them a couple days later. They still looked perfect and didn't get smushed at all.

A storm was coming in, so we headed back to the resort. When we got back to our room it started pouring. We had planned to eat dinner at the resort, but you have to walk quite a ways outside to get to eating area. The rain never stopped, and none of us felt like getting drenched, so we just skipped dinner and ate some of the snacks we had left in the room, like granola bars, crackers, etc...That gave us time to pack up and relax before getting up to head home on Saturday.
