Apples & Acorns

Yesterday, we continued to work on the letter A. Ben colored a little 'a' to resemble an apple and decorated an acorn picture with cereal. We also searched through the house/books for all the big and little A's we could find. We've been having a great time...hopefully I will be able to have interesting ideas ready for each letter of the alphabet. :)
After coloring a little 'a' that I drew for him, Ben used a glue stick to get it ready to place on the orange paper.
Sticking it to the paper.
Putting glue on the little leaf he colored.
All done!
He colored the acorn picture brown before adding the cereal.
I helped Ben put glue all over the acorn and he added Rice Krispies to the bottom and Cheerios to the top.
We had to set it out overnight to dry because all that glue made it very wet!
This morning it was all dry, so I cut it out and put it on the refrigerator.

NOW ON TO MORE FUN WITH THE LETTER A!

Great ideas! Ben will be the smartest boy in his class when it's time for school! Good Job, Melissa!
