This & That

I haven't gotten the camera out a ton lately, but here are a few pictures from the last couple days. Potty-training is still going well although it does limit us from being away from the house too long. We were able to run some errands together this week and even met Curt for lunch yesterday. He's still nervous of the "big potties" so we'll have to work on that fear after he has everything else down a little better.

Lately, I've been looking for a little bag for Ben. I wanted one that was small enough for him and didn't have (tv/movie) characters all over it. I came across some zoo backpacks for preschoolers and thought they were adorable. I was kinda partial to the dog or monkey, but Ben really loved the penguin. Since it's his bag, I went with his preference and ordered the penguin. UPS dropped it off yesterday and he was SO excited. He's worn it all around the house the past two days.

He looks so grown up wearing a backpack. It makes my heart hurt. Sometimes I think I'll blink and he'll be graduating high school.

We were coloring last night and Ben put a crayon behind his ear. He said, "I look just like Manny mom." It made me laugh, so I got out the camera to take a couple pictures.

He makes a pretty cute Handy Manny. Now he just needs to get his tools out and fix something! :)

Recently, my parents have sent Ben a couple packages in the mail to encourage him with his potty-training. He was beyond excited today when the mail lady brought a package for him to our door. After I got the top opened for him, I got out the camera to take a few pictures.

Yeah! A new car & launcher.

It's Shifty! Ben has been looking for Shifty for a while. He had to play with it immediately, of course. Shifty had to go with Ben for nap time today too. Thanks Grandma and Gramps!!! :)
