So Long September!

I can't believe that tomorrow is already the beginning of October. Ben and I spent the last day of this month enjoying the zoo. It closes already on October 10th, so we are trying to fit in a couple last visits.
When we walked into the zoo, Ben asked if he could give the inflatable Bill a hug.
 A friendly peacock.
Ben walking through the African Safari mist. It was working overtime today, so we had a hard time seeing the path!
 Pelicans
Ben being silly. He said he put his hat on backwards just like daddy does.
 Lions: Ina & Bill
Ben wanted me to take a picture of him pretending to sleep in the tent. What a goof! :)
 Leopard
 Playing in the eggs.
Ben rode the pony Candy today. He always rides on Sadie, but she had the day off. (Only about 1/2 the ponies were there. I guess they don't bring them all out as it gets closer to zoo closing time.)
Ben found a little caterpillar and we watched him crawl around for a while.
Choo! Choo! We took advantage of the last day of $1 rides and rode the train.
Last stop...brushing the goats.

Looks like so much fun! Can't believe how much he's grown again---I am so looking forward to seeing you all again, but it's still 3 weeks away! Toooo long. :-(
Hugs to all,
Mom/Gramma
